Posting with a heavy heart

I know it is has been a while since I posted and didnt intend my comeback to be a sad one. This morning someone I loved and respected passed away. So to that special person I would like to say this. "I wanted to thank you for all you did. No-one could make me laugh like you and you were a rock for me through some of the worst times in my life. God Bless, you will never be forgotten" xx

Time goes by....

So not too good at keeping up with my blog. Have decided though to keep a track of everything I make this year and haven't got off to a bad start. Will take a picture of the scarf I made when grandaughter next visits. Still snow on the ground. As much as I love the snow, I am a bit worried that one morning I am going to arrive at work on my backside!!

Just had a wonderful holiday back home, which was over far too soon.

Well wiggly blanket is almost finished. I ran out of wool with half a row left so had to get a huge ball to finish it. I can use it for something else. I will post a pic when completed as long as I can wrestle it away from my grandson! I am delighted with my new laptop and looking forward to going home for a week very soon.

Emerging from the depths

It was pointed out today (thank you JSC!) that I hadn't updated my blog for quite some time. My only excuse is Christmas and the snow! I do admit that is pretty poor. All the cards got stitched for Christmas and the wiggly blanket is underway. Looking forward a possible weekend with my sister, depending on the weather. Woke up to snow this morning.....

Christmas is coming...

It has been a while since I posted, some much to do, so little time. I managed to get the children's 2008 ornaments finished this week and also a birthday card for my friend. Need to crack on with Christmas cards now and then another wiggly blanket...
